This agreement confirms the participation of the undersigned player in the 4th Classic International Tournament in Tortola, British Virgin Islands (BVI), representing Bridge Play Foundation Inc.
Bridge Play Foundation Inc. is proud to support athletes representing New York, the Bronx, and the United States in international competition.
Travel and Participation Support Provided
Bridge Play Foundation Inc. agrees to cover the following expenses for each participating player for the 4th Classic International Tournament in Tortola, British Virgin Islands (May 13 – May 18, 2026):
Round-trip airfare
Hotel accommodations during the tournament dates
Transportation between the airport to Tortola, BVI
Transportation between the hotel and tournament venues
Team uniform(s) provided for the tournament
Team equipment and tournament-related supplies
The total estimated value of these expenses is approximately $900 per player, which will be covered by Bridge Play Foundation Inc.
All travel arrangements, uniforms, and equipment purchases will be organized and purchased directly by Bridge Play Foundation Inc.
Player Commitment
By signing this agreement, the player confirms their commitment to:
Participate in the 4th Classic International Tournament
Represent Bridge Play Foundation Inc. with professionalism, respect, and sportsmanship
Attend scheduled games, team meetings, and tournament activities
Follow the rules and expectations established by team management and tournament organizers
Players are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on the team, the organization, and the communities we represent.
Cancellation Policy
Once travel arrangements, uniforms, or equipment have been purchased by Bridge Play Foundation Inc., the following policy will apply:
If a player cancels their participation after flights, hotel accommodations, uniforms, equipment, or any other tournament-related expenses have been purchased or secured, and those items or reservations cannot be refunded, transferred, or reassigned to another player, the player will be responsible for reimbursing Bridge Play Foundation Inc. for the non-refundable expenses incurred on their behalf, up to the estimated total value of $900 per player.
Travel Documentation
Each player is responsible for ensuring that they possess all required travel documentation, including:
A valid passport
Any required entry documentation for the British Virgin Islands
Bridge Play Foundation Inc. is not responsible for any costs or losses incurred if a player is unable to travel due to missing, expired, or invalid travel documentation.
Code of Conduct
Players must maintain respectful, professional, and responsible behavior at all times during travel, hotel stays, tournament participation, and team-related activities.
Bridge Play Foundation Inc. reserves the right to remove a player from the team or trip if their behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or harmful to the team, organization, or tournament environment. Any expenses resulting from such behavior may become the responsibility of the player.
Liability Waiver
Participation in athletic competition and international travel involves inherent risks. By signing this agreement, the player acknowledges and accepts these risks.
The player agrees that Bridge Play Foundation Inc., its staff, volunteers, and organizers shall not be held liable for injuries, accidents, illness, loss of personal property, or unforeseen circumstances that may occur during travel or participation in the tournament.
Players voluntarily assume responsibility for their personal safety, health, and belongings.
Media Release
By participating in the tournament, the player grants Bridge Play Foundation Inc. permission to photograph, film, and record their participation during team activities, travel, practices, and games.
The player agrees that these photos, videos, and recordings may be used by Bridge Play Foundation Inc. for purposes including but not limited to:
Social media and website content
Promotional materials
Live broadcasts and recorded broadcasts, including YouTube or other digital media platforms
Media coverage and publicity
The player understands that these materials may be used without compensation and may be edited, published, or distributed by Bridge Play Foundation Inc. in support of the organization’s programs and mission.
Agreement
By signing below, the player acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Player Participation Agreement. A copy of this contract will be sent to you by email.
