Fall 2025
Women's Softball League

Fall 2025 Season Recap

The Bridge Play Women’s Softball League (BPWSL) made history this fall, launching its first-ever 18+ draft-style modified/chata league. With over 65 players and 4 dedicated coaches, teams were built through a carefully structured draft designed to create true balance—and it showed all season long.

Friday nights quickly turned into something special. The fields were alive with energy as players competed at a high level, coaches strategized, and fans came out from all over to support their teams. Week after week, the league delivered excitement, competitiveness, and a growing sense of community.

Playoffs: Nothing Short of Electric

The playoffs took things to another level.

All four teams—Forza (Willy), Nemeses (Junito), Athenas (Rosy), and Sirens (Sergio)—battled through best-of-three series, and in an incredible twist, every single matchup went to a Game 3.

Forza (1) vs. Nemeses (4)
Forza dominated most of the regular season, holding the top spot nearly the entire way. But playoffs are a different game. Nemeses, who had struggled to find their rhythm during the season, came alive when it mattered most. In a stunning upset, Nemeses took down the #1 seed and punched their ticket to the championship.

Athenas (2) vs. Sirens (3)
This matchup was electric from start to finish. These two teams had already built a rivalry during the regular season, consistently putting up high-scoring, double-digit games. The playoff series lived up to the hype—intense, unpredictable, and fiercely competitive. In a tight Game 3, Athenas capitalized on a risky strategic move by the Sirens that ultimately backfired. Athenas advanced in what was easily one of the most thrilling matchups of the season.

Championship Series (Best of 3)

The finals featured Athenas vs. Nemeses—two teams peaking at the right time.

Athenas struck first, taking Game 1 and gaining early control of the series. However, the championship took an unexpected pause as Game 2 (and a potential Game 3) had to be postponed due to weather.

The story isn’t finished yet.

Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to crown our first-ever BPWSL champions.
