Legends Classic 50+: A Celebration of Living Legends

What a turnout! The inaugural Legends Classic 50+ Softball Tournament brought together eight powerhouse teams made up entirely of players ages 50 and over — and they did not disappoint. From diving catches to clutch plays and swings for the fences, these athletes reminded everyone that passion for the game never ages. The energy was electric, and you truly had to be there to feel the excitement.

Honoring the Greats

During our tournament ceremony, Bridge Play proudly awarded Hall of Fame medals to some of the biggest names in the game — athletes whose softball journeys have left a lasting mark on the community. These players represent decades of dedication, sportsmanship, and love for the game, and celebrating them was one of the day’s highlights.

A Championship Battle

The competition was fierce, with every matchup feeling like a championship game. In the end, Team Chicago New York emerged as the tournament champions, showcasing grit and teamwork that carried them through the bracket. A big salute goes to the Mariners, this year’s runner-up, who fought hard through a tough lineup of low-scoring, defensive battles. Both teams left everything on the field and gave the crowd a finale to remember.
